Remembering Summer by Cody

That Was Summer
Remember that time
when you went in the nice, hot, salty water
at the beautiful, warm beach?
That was summer.
Remember that time
when you went to the zoo and saw a lion eating,
and you were glad it wasn't your body?
That was summer.
Remember that time
when you went to the pools and
went on the long hydroslide?
You felt happy and excited?
That was summer.
